Man Lā Yaḥḍuruh al-Faqīh|Volume 1|Book 1|Chapter 2
Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq عليه السلام was asked about a well from which water was drawn for ablution, washing clothes, and kneading dough, and then it was discovered that there was a dead animal in it. Imam عليه السلام said: "There is no harm, and the clothes do not need to be washed again, nor does the prayer need to be repeated”.
