Washing of the Deceased
Man Lā Yaḥḍuruh al-Faqīh|Volume 1|Book 1|Chapter 24
وَقَالَ اَلصَّادِقُ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ: «مَنْ مَاتَ مَا بَيْنَ زَوَالِ اَلشَّمْسِ مِنْ يَوْمِ اَلْخَمِيسِ إِلَى زَوَالِ اَلشَّمْسِ مِنْ يَوْمِ اَلْجُمُعَةِ أَمِنَ مِنْ ضَغْطَةِ اَلْقَبْرِ.
Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq عليه السلام said: "Whoever dies between the decline of the sun on Thursday until the decline of the sun on will be safe from the squeezing (pressure) of the grave."
