Chapter on Touching the Deceased
Man Lā Yaḥḍuruh al-Faqīh|Volume 1|Book 1|Chapter 25
وَ سُئِلَ أَبُو اَلْحَسَنِ اَلثَّالِثُ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ: هَلْ يُقَرَّبُ إِلَى اَلْمَيِّتِ اَلْمِسْكُ وَ اَلْبَخُورُ قَالَ «نَعَمْ.
Abu Al-Hasan al-Thalith, Imam Ali ibn Muhammad Al-Hadi عليه السلام was asked whether musk and incense (bukhoor) should be brought near the deceased. Imam عليه السلام replied: "Yes."
