Chapter on Touching the Deceased
Man Lā Yaḥḍuruh al-Faqīh|Volume 1|Book 1|Chapter 25
وَ سَأَلَهُ أَبُو اَلنُّمَيْرِ مَوْلَى اَلْحَارِثِ بْنِ اَلْمُغِيرَةِ فَقَالَ: حَدِّثْنِي عَنِ اَلصَّبِيِّ إِلَى كَمْ تُغَسِّلُهُ اَلنِّسَاءُ فَقَالَ «إِلَى ثَلاَثِ سِنِينَ.
Abu al-Numeir, the freed slave of al-Harith ibn al-Mughira, asked Imam Al-Sadiq عليه السلام: "Tell me about the age up to which a child can be washed by women." The Imam عليه السلام replied: "Up to three years old."
