Chapter on Touching the Deceased
Man Lā Yaḥḍuruh al-Faqīh|Volume 1|Book 1|Chapter 25
وَ سَأَلَهُ عَمَّارٌ اَلسَّابَاطِيُّ: عَنِ اَلصَّبِيَّةِ لاَ تُصَابُ اِمْرَأَةٌ تُغَسِّلُهَا قَالَ «يُغَسِّلُهَا أَوْلَى اَلنَّاسِ بِهَا مِنَ اَلرِّجَالِ.
Ammar al-Sabati asked Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq عليه السلام about a young girl for whom no woman is available to wash her. Imam عليه السلام replied: "The one most closely related to her among the men should wash her."
