The Funeral Prayer (Salat Al-Janazah)
Man Lā Yaḥḍuruh al-Faqīh|Volume 1|Book 1|Chapter 26
وَ سَأَلَهُ اَلْفَضْلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اَلْمَلِكِ: هَلْ يُصَلَّى عَلَى اَلْمَيِّتِ فِي اَلْمَسْجِدِ قَالَ «نَعَمْ.
Al-Fadl ibn Abd al-Malik asked Imam عليه السلام: "Is it permissible to perform the funeral prayer for the deceased in the mosque?" Imam عليه السلام replied: "Yes”.
