The Funeral Prayer (Salat Al-Janazah)
Man Lā Yaḥḍuruh al-Faqīh|Volume 1|Book 1|Chapter 26
وَقَالَ اَلصَّادِقُ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ: «مَنْ أَخَذَ بِقَوَائِمِ اَلسَّرِيرِ غَفَرَ اَللَّهُ لَهُ خَمْساً وَ عِشْرِينَ كَبِيرَةً وَ إِذَا رَبَّعَ خَرَجَ مِنَ اَلذُّنُوبِ.
Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq عليه السلام said: "Whoever takes hold of the handles of the bier, Allah سبحانه وتعالى will forgive twenty-five major sins for them. And if they carry it on all four sides, they will be cleansed of their sins."
