The Call to Prayer and the Establishment of Prayer and the Reward of the Muezzins

It was narrated from Ammar al-Sabati that He said: "Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq عليه السلام was asked about a man who forgot a word during the adhan (call to prayer) and remembered it after completing the adhan and iqamah (second call to prayer). The Imam said: "He should go back to the word he forgot, say it, and then continue from that point to the end. He does not need to repeat the entire adhan or the iqamah."
