Yahya ibn Aktham asked Abu Al-Hasan al-Awwal عليه السلام about the Fajr prayer and why it is recited aloud even though it is one of the daytime prayers, while generally only nighttime prayers are recited aloud. Imam عليه السلام replied: "This is because The Prophet صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم would offer it at the break of dawn, making it close to the nighttime."
