Description of the Prayer from Its Beginning to Its End
Man Lā Yaḥḍuruh al-Faqīh|Volume 1|Book 1|Chapter 46
عَنِ اَلصَّادِقِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «كُلُّ شَيْءٍ مُطْلَقٌ حَتَّى يَرِدَ فِيهِ نَهْيٌ.
It is narrated from Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq عليه السلام that He said: "Everything is permissible unless there is a prohibition regarding it”.
