The Supplication of Qunoot in Witr Prayer
Man Lā Yaḥḍuruh al-Faqīh|Volume 1|Book 1|Chapter 72
وَقَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ: «اَلْقُنُوتُ فِي يَوْمِ اَلْجُمُعَةِ تَمْجِيدُ اَللَّهِ وَ اَلصَّلاَةُ عَلَى نَبِيِّ اَللَّهِ وَ كَلِمَاتُ اَلْفَرَجِ. ثم هذا الدعاء.
Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir عليه السلام said: "The Qunoot (supplication during prayer) on the Day of Jumu’ah consists of glorifying Allah سبحانه وتعالى, sending blessings upon the Prophet of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, and words of relief (Kalimatu-l-Faraj)”.
