Chapter on the Etiquettes of the Fasting Person, What Invalidates the Fast, and What Does Not Invalidate it
It was narrated from Mansur ibn Hazim that he said: "I asked Abu Abdullah عليه السلام about a man who places a date seed in his mouth while fasting. Imam عليه السلام said: 'No.' I then asked: 'What about placing a ring?' Imam عليه السلام said: 'Yes.'"
