Chapter on the Etiquettes of the Fasting Person, What Invalidates the Fast, and What Does Not Invalidate it
Muhammad ibn al-Faydh al-Taymi narrated from Ibn Ri'ab, who said: "I heard Abu Abdullah عليه السلام forbidding the use of narcissus (nargis) for the fasting person. I asked: 'May I be your ransom, why?' Imam عليه السلام replied: "Because it is the fragrant herb of the non-Arabs (al-A'jam)."
