Chapter on What is Obligatory for One Who Breaks the Fast or Engages in Intercourse in the Month of Ramadan Intentionally or Forgetfully

Ali ibn Ri'ab narrated from Ibrahim ibn Maymun, who said: "I asked Abu Abdullah عليه السلام about a man who becomes junub (in a state of ritual impurity) at night during the Month of Ramadan, then forgets to perform ghusl (ritual bathing) until a week passes or the Month of Ramadan ends. Imam عليه السلام said: 'He must make up the missed prayers and the fasts.'"
