Man Lā Yaḥḍuruh al-Faqīh|Volume 2|Book 2|Chapter 36
وَ قَالَ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ: «لاَ وِصَالَ فِي صِيَامٍ وَ لاَ صَمْتَ يَوْماً إِلَى اَللَّيْلِ».
Imam عليه السلام said: "There is no continuous fasting (wisal) in fasting, nor remaining silent for a day until night."
