Chapter on Absconding Slaves
Man Lā Yaḥḍuruh al-Faqīh|Volume 3|Book 1|Chapter 53
وَ قَالَ اَلصَّادِقُ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ: "اَلْمَمْلُوكُ إِذَا هَرَبَ وَ لَمْ يَخْرُجْ مِنْ مِصْرِهِ لَمْ يَكُنْ آبِقاً".
Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq عليه السلام said: "If a slave runs away but does not leave his city, he is not considered a runaway (abiq)."
