Chapter on Usury (Riba)
Man Lā Yaḥḍuruh al-Faqīh|Volume 3|Book 2|Chapter 27
وَ رَوَى غِيَاثُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ: "أَنَّ عَلِيّاً عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ كَرِهَ بَيْعَ اَللَّحْمِ بِالْحَيَوَانِ".
Ghiyath ibn Ibrahim narrated from Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq عليه السلام from his father, Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir عليه السلام, that Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib عليه السلام disliked the sale of meat in exchange for live animals.
