Chapter on Usury (Riba)
Man Lā Yaḥḍuruh al-Faqīh|Volume 3|Book 2|Chapter 27
وَ سَأَلَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، أَخَاهُ مُوسَى بْنَ جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِمَا اَلسَّلاَمُ: عَنْ رَجُلٍ أَعْطَى عَبْدَهُ عَشَرَةَ دَرَاهِمَ عَلَى أَنْ يُؤَدِّيَ اَلْعَبْدُ كُلَّ شَهْرٍ عَشَرَةَ دَرَاهِمَ أَ يَحِلُّ ذَلِكَ قَالَ "لاَ بَأْسَ".
Ali ibn Ja'far asked his brother Imam Musa ibn Jafar Al-Kadhim عليه السلام about a man who gave his servant ten dirhams on the condition that the servant would pay back ten dirhams each month. Imam عليه السلام said: "There is no harm in that."
