Isma'il ibn Muslim narrated from Abu Abdillah Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq عليه السلام from his father, Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir عليه السلام, who said: Allah سبحانه وتعالى, the Exalted, revealed to one of His prophets (peace be upon them): "Deal generously with the generous, be lenient with the lenient, be tight-fisted with the stingy, and be evasive with the harsh."
