Man Lā Yaḥḍuruh al-Faqīh|Volume 3|Book 2|Chapter 36
Hammad ibn Isa narrated from Hariz who said: Abu Abdullah عليه السلام, was asked about an animal shot with an arrow, and its owner finds it the next day. Should he eat from it? Imam عليه السلام said: "If he knows that his shot is what killed it, then he may eat it, provided that he had mentioned the name of Allah سبحانه وتعالى (at the time of shooting)."
