Chapter on Oaths, Vows, and Expiations
Man Lā Yaḥḍuruh al-Faqīh|Volume 3|Book 2|Chapter 38
وَ قَالَ أَمِيرُ اَلْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ: "مَنْ حَلَفَ فَقَالَ لاَ وَ رَبِّ اَلْمُصْحَفِ فَعَلَيْهِ كَفَّارَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ".
Commander of the Faithful عليه السلام said: "Whoever takes an oath and says, 'No, by the Lord عز وجل of the Mushaf (the Quran),' must offer a single expiation."
