Man Lā Yaḥḍuruh al-Faqīh|Volume 3|Book 3|Chapter 45
It was narrated from Abu Basir who said: I said to Abu Abdullah عليه السلام: "A man was found with a woman in a house, and she admitted that she was his wife, and he admitted that he was her husband." Imam عليه السلام said: "There may be a man whom, if he were brought to me, I would approve of that for him, and there may be a man whom, if he were brought to me, I would have him beaten."
