Al-Alaa ibn Razin asked Abu Abdullah عليه السلام about the the general masses (Jumhur al-Nas). Imam عليه السلام said: "They are today considered people of truce. Their lost property is to be returned to them, their trusts are to be fulfilled, their blood is to be protected, and marriage with them and inheritance from them is permissible in this state."
