Man Lā Yaḥḍuruh al-Faqīh|Volume 3|Book 3|Chapter 9
Mas'adah ibn Ziyad narrated from Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq عليه السلام from his father, Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir عليه السلام (peace be upon them) that he said: "Women are of four types, there are those who are like a fertile spring, those who are abundant and productive, those who are burdensome and oppressive, and those who are like a shackle infested with lice."
