Chapter on Recognizing the Major Sins for Which Allah سبحانه وتعالى, the Almighty, Has Threatened with Hellfire
وَ رَوَى أَحْمَدُ بْنُ اَلنَّضْرِ عَنْ عَبَّادٍ عَنْ كَثِيرٍ اَلنَّوَّاءِ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَنِ اَلْكَبَائِرِ فَقَالَ "كُلُّ مَا أَوْعَدَ اَللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ عَلَيْهِ اَلنَّارَ".
Ahmad ibn al-Nadr narrated from Abbad, from Kathir al-Nawwa', who said: I asked Abu Ja'far Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir عليه السلام about the major sins. He said: "Every sin for which Allah سبحانه وتعالى, the Mighty and Majestic, has promised the Hellfire is a major sin."
