Among the Concise Words of the Messenger of Allah (Peace Be Upon Him)

Al-Mu'alla ibn Muhammad Al-Basri narrated from Jafar ibn Salamah from Abdullah ibn Al-Hakam from his father from Said ibn Jubayr from Ibn Abbas who said: "The Prophet صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, said: "Indeed, Ali عليه السلام is my executor and successor, and his wife (Sayyidah) Fatimah صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم, the leader of the women of the worlds, is my daughter, and Al-Hasan عليه السلام and Al-Hussain عليه السلام, the leaders of the youth of Paradise, are my sons. Whoever befriends Them عليه السلام has befriended me صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم, Whoever opposes Them عليه السلام has opposed me صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم, Whoever resists Them عليه السلام has resisted me صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم, Whoever abandons Them عليه السلام has abandoned me صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم, Whoever treats Them عليه السلام kindly has treated Me صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم kindly. May Allah سبحانه وتعالى connect with those who connect with them عليه السلام, and may Allah سبحانه وتعالى sever ties with those who sever ties with them عليه السلام. May Allah سبحانه وتعالى support those who aid them عليه السلام, and forsake those who forsake them عليه السلام. O' Allah سبحانه وتعالى, just as each of Your سبحانه وتعالى prophets and messengers had a trust and a household; (These) Ali عليه السلام, Fatimah صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم, Hassan عليه السلام, and Hussain عليه السلام are my household and my trust. So remove all impurity from Them عليه السلام and purify Them عليه السلام with thorough purification, O' Lord عز وجل of the worlds."
