Chapter on Retaliation (Qisas) and the Amount of Blood Money (Diyyah)
وَ رَوَى دَاوُدُ بْنُ سِرْحَانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ: فِي رَجُلٍ حَمَلَ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ مَتَاعاً فَأَصَابَ إِنْسَاناً فَمَاتَ أَوْ كَسَرَ مِنْهُ شَيْئاً قَالَ "هُوَ مَأْمُونٌ".
Dawud ibn Sirhan narrated from Abu Abdullah عليه السلام regarding a man who was carrying goods on his head and accidentally struck a person, causing death or breaking something. Imam عليه السلام said: "He is not held liable (ma'mun)."
