حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَطَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ زَكَرِيَّا الْقَطَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الصَّقْرِ الْعَبْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ عَبَايَةَ بْنِ رِبْعِيٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص أَنَا سَيِّدُ النَّبِيِّينَ وَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ سَيِّدُ الْوَصِيِّينَ وَ إِنَّ أَوْصِيَائِي بَعْدِي اثْنَا عَشَرَ أَوَّلُهُمْ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ وَ آخِرُهُمُ الْقَائِمُ ع.
Narrated to us Ahmad bin Hasan al-Qattan: Narrated to us Ahmad bin Yahya bin Zakariya al-Qattan: Narrated to us Bakr bin Abdullah bin Habib: Narrated to us Fadl bin Saqr Abdi: Narrated to us Abu Muawiyah from Amash from Abaya bin Rabi from Abdullah bin Abbas that he said: The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم said: “I am the chief of the prophets, Ali ibn Abi Talib is the chief of successors. And my successors after me are twelve. The first of them is Ali ibn Abi Talib عليه السلام and the last is al-Qaim عليه السلام.”
