The prophet’s صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم Designation of the qa’im عليه السلام

Narrated to us Ali bin Ahmad رضي الله عنه: Narrated to us Muhammad bin Abi Abdullah Kufi: Narrated to us Musa bin Imran from his uncle Husain bin Yazid from Hasan ibn Ali bin Abi Hamza from his father from Yahya bin Abil Qasim from as-Sadiq Ja’far bin Muhammad from his father from his grandfather عليه السلام that he said: The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم said: “The Imams after me will be twelve. The first of them is Ali Ibn Abi Talib and the last of them is the Qaim. They are my caliphs, my successors, my friends and the proofs of Allah upon my nation after me. One who accepts them is a believer and the one who denies them is an unbeliever.”
