What the Commander of the Faithful عليه السلام Informed Regarding the Occurrence of the Occultation

Narrated to us Muhammad bin Hasan رضي الله عنه - May Allah be pleased with them - they said: Narrated to us Muhammad bin Yahya al-Attar from Sahl ibn Ziyad Adami and Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Isa that they said: Narrated to us Hasan bin Abbas Harish ar-Raazi from Abi Ja’far Muhammad bin Ali, the second, from his ancestors عليه السلام that Amirul Momineen عليه السلام said to ibn Abbas: “The grand night (Lailatul Qadr) comes every year. And it is on this night that the commands of Sunnah come down; and after the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم these commands come down to his successors. ibn Abbas asked: Who are those successors? He replied: I am, and after me, the eleven narrating Imams from my progeny [who will narrate traditions from the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم].”
