What Al-Baqir عليه السلام Informed Regarding the Occurrence of the Occultation
37- حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ أَبِي الْخَطَّابِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ بَزِيعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَصَمِّ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ الْمُخْتَارِ الْقَلَانِسِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَيَابَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع أَنَّهُ قَالَ: كَيْفَ أَنْتُمْ إِذَا بَقِيتُمْ بِلَا إِمَامٍ هُدًى وَ لَا عَلَمٍ يَتَبَرَّأُ بَعْضُكُمْ مِنْ بَعْضٍ فَعِنْدَ ذَلِكَ تُمَيَّزُونَ وَ تُمَحَّصُونَ وَ تُغَرْبَلُونَ وَ عِنْدَ ذَلِكَ اخْتِلَافُ السَّيْفَيْنِ وَ إِمَارَةٌ مِنْ أَوَّلِ النَّهَارِ وَ قَتْلٌ وَ خَلْعٌ مِنْ آخِرِ النَّهَارِ.
37 - Narrated to us my father رضي الله عنه: Narrated to us Saad bin Abdullah from Muhammad bin Husain bin Abil Khattab from Muhammad bin Ismail bin Bazee from Abdullah bin Abdur Rahman Asam from Husain bin Mukhtar Qalanisi from Abdur Rahman bin Siyabah from Abi Abdullah عليه السلام that he said:
“What will be your condition at that time when you shall be without an Imam or guide and you will be disgusted with each other. At that time you shall be severely examined and you shall be differentiated and sieved.”
