Chapter on Water and Its Rules, and What is Permissible and Impermissible for Purification
And with this chain of narration, from al-Husayn ibn Sa'id, from Ibn Abi Umayr, from Umar ibn Udhaynah, from Zurara, from Abu Abdullah عليه السلام, who said:
Imam عليه السلام said: In the book of (Imam) Ali عليه السلام, it is written: "The cat is a predator (sabu‘), but there is no harm in its leftover water (su’r). I feel ashamed before Allah سبحانه وتعالى to leave (edible) food because a cat has eaten from it."
