Chapter on Water and Its Rules, and What is Permissible and Impermissible for Purification
وَبِهَذَا اَلْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ اَلْحَضْرَمِيِّ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَنْ مَاءِ اَلْبَحْرِ أَ طَهُورٌ قَالَ« نَعَمْ».
And with this chain of narration, from Muhammad ibn Yahya, from Ahmad ibn Muhammad, from Uthman ibn Isa, from Abu Bakr al-Hadhrami, who said:
I asked Abu Abdullah عليه السلام about the water of the sea - Is it purifying? Imam عليه السلام said: "Yes."
