Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Yahya narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Hashim, from Abu Khadijah:
Abu Abdullah عليه السلام was asked about a mouse that falls into a well. Imam عليه السلام said: “If it dies and does not rot, then forty buckets should be drawn. But if it swells and stinks, all the water should be removed.”
