مَا أَخْبَرَنِي بِهِ اَلشَّيْخُ أَيَّدَهُ اَللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْ أَبِي اَلْقَاسِمِ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ عَنِ اَلْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مَهْزِيَارَ وَمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ وَعَلِيِّ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مَهْزِيَارَ قَالَ: قَرَأْتُ فِي كِتَابِ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ إِلَى أَبِي اَلْحَسَنِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ رَوَى زُرَارَةُ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ وَ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمَا اَلسَّلاَمُ فِي اَلْخَمْرِ يُصِيبُ ثَوْبَ اَلرَّجُلِ أَنَّهُمَا قَالاَ« لاَ بَأْسَ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ فِيهِ إِنَّمَا حُرِّمَ شُرْبُهَا» وَ رَوَى غَيْرُ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ« إِذَا أَصَابَ ثَوْبَكَ خَمْرٌ أَوْ نَبِيذٌ يَعْنِي اَلْمُسْكِرَ فَاغْسِلْهُ إِنْ عَرَفْتَ مَوْضِعَهُ وَ إِنْ لَمْ تَعْرِفْ مَوْضِعَهُ فَاغْسِلْهُ كُلَّهُ وَ إِنْ صَلَّيْتَ فِيهِ فَأَعِدْ صَلاَتَكَ» فَأَعْلِمْنِي مَا آخُذُ بِهِ فَوَقَّعَ بِخَطِّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ« وَ قَرَأْتُهُ خُذْ بِقَوْلِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ».
Narrated to me by the Shaykh (Al-Mufid), may Allah سبحانه وتعالى support him, from Abu Al-Qasim Ja’far bin Muhammad, from Muhammad bin Ya’qub, from Al-Husayn bin Muhammad, from Abdullah bin Amir, from Ali bin Mahziyar, and Muhammad bin Yahya, from Ahmad bin Muhammad, from Ali, and Ali bin Muhammad, from Sahl bin Ziyad, from Ali bin Mahziyar, who said:
I read in the letter of Abdullah bin Muhammad to Abu Al-Hasan عليه السلام: "May I be sacrificed for you. Zurara narrated from Abu Ja’far and Abu Abdullah عليه السلام regarding wine that touches a man's garment. They عليه السلام said: 'There is no harm in praying in it, as only its consumption is prohibited.' Another narration from Abu Abdullah عليه السلام says: 'If your garment is contaminated by wine or intoxicating nabidh, then wash it if you know the spot. If you do not know the spot, wash the entire garment. And if you have prayed in it, repeat your prayer.' Inform me which ruling I should follow." Imam عليه السلام responded in his handwriting, and I read it: "Follow the saying of Abu Abdullah عليه السلام."
