Chapter on Purifying Clothes and Other Items From Impurities

أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ اَلْحَكَمِ عَنِ اَلْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ أَبِي اَلْعَلاَءِ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَنِ اَلْبَوْلِ يُصِيبُ اَلْجَسَدَ قَالَ« صُبَّ عَلَيْهِ اَلْمَاءَ مَرَّتَيْنِ».
Ahmad ibn Muhammad, from Ali ibn al-Hakam, from al-Husayn ibn Abi al-‘Ala reported:
I asked Abu ‘Abdillah عليه السلام about urine that touches the body. Imam عليه السلام said: "Pour water over it twice."
