What was narrated to me by the Shaykh from Ahmad bin Muhammad, from his father, from Muhammad bin Al-Hasan Al-Saffar, from Muhammad bin Al-Sindi, from Ali bin Al-Hakam, from Aban bin Uthman, from Isa bin Abi Mansur, who said:
I said to Abu Abdullah عليه السلام: "A woman’s garment was stained with menstrual blood. She washed it, but the trace of blood remained on the garment." Imam عليه السلام said: "Tell her to dye it with mishq (a type of dye) until it blends in."
