Tahdhīb al-Aḥkām|Volume 1|Book 1|Chapter 12
And through this chain of transmission, from Al-Husayn bin Sa’id, and from Ali bin Hadid and Abdullah bin Abi Najran, from Hammad bin Isa, from Hariz bin Abdullah, from Zurarah bin A’yun, who said:
I said to Abu Ja’far عليه السلام: "A man steps on feces, and his foot sinks into it - does that invalidate his wudu, and is he required to wash it?" Imam عليه السلام said: "He does not wash it unless he finds it repulsive. Instead, he wipes it until its traces disappear, and then he prays."
