Tahdhīb al-Aḥkām|Volume 1|Book 1|Chapter 12
Narrated to me by the Shaykh (Al-Mufid), may Allah سبحانه وتعالى support him, from Abu Al-Qasim Ja’far bin Muhammad, from Muhammad bin Ya’qub, from Ali bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abi Umayr, from Hammad, from Al-Halabi, from Abu Abdullah عليه السلام:
I asked Imam عليه السلام about a man whose garment comes into contact with the body of a deceased person. Imam عليه السلام said: "He should wash what touched the garment."
