The Shaykh (Al-Mufid), may Allah سبحانه وتعالى support him, narrated from Abu al-Qasim Ja‘far ibn Muhammad, from Muhammad ibn Ya‘qub, from a group of our companions, from Sahl ibn Ziyad and ‘Ali ibn Ibrahim, from his father, all from al-Nawfali, from al-Sakuni, from Abu ‘Abdullah عليه السلام. Imam عليه السلام said that Commander of the Faithful عليه السلام stated: "The practice established by the Messenger of Allah سبحانه وتعالى (peace be upon him and his family) is that a woman should not be placed in her grave except by someone who used to see her during her lifetime."
