The Shaykh (Al-Mufid), may Allah سبحانه وتعالى support him, narrated to me from Abu Al-Qasim Ja’far bin Muhammad, from Muhammad bin Ya’qub, from Ali bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abi Umayr, from one of his companions, from Abu Abdullah عليه السلام: Imam عليه السلام said: "The kafan (shroud) should not be perfumed with incense (tajmir)."
