Chapter on Guiding the Dying, Positioning Them at Death, Procedures for Their Final Moments, Washing Them, and Placing Them in Shrouds

Ahmad bin Muhammad narrated from Al-Hasan bin Ali, the grandson of Ilyas, from Abdullah bin Sinan: Abu Abdullah عليه السلام said: "There is no harm in perfuming the shroud (kafan) of the deceased with smoke (dukhna), and it is appropriate for a Muslim to perfume his clothes with incense if he is able to do so."
