Chapter on Acts That Necessitate Purification

وَ رَوَى حَرِيزٌ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ:« إِذَا كَانَ اَلرَّجُلُ يَقْطُرُ مِنْهُ اَلْبَوْلُ وَ اَلدَّمُ إِذَا كَانَ فِي اَلصَّلاَةِ اِتَّخَذَ كِيساً وَ جَعَلَ فِيهِ قُطْناً ثُمَّ عَلَّقَهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ أَدْخَلَ ذَكَرَهُ فِيهِ ثُمَّ صَلَّى يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَ اَلصَّلاَتَيْنِ اَلظُّهْرِ وَ اَلْعَصْرِ يُؤَخِّرُ اَلظُّهْرَ وَ يُعَجِّلُ اَلْعَصْرَ بِأَذَانٍ وَ إِقَامَتَيْنِ وَ يُؤَخِّرُ اَلْمَغْرِبَ وَ يُعَجِّلُ اَلْعِشَاءَ بِأَذَانٍ وَ إِقَامَتَيْنِ وَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ فِي اَلصُّبْحِ».
Narrated by Hariz, from Abu Abdullah عليه السلام:
Imam عليه السلام said: "If a man experiences continuous dripping of urine or blood while in prayer, he should prepare a pouch, place cotton inside it, then tie it around himself and insert his private part into it. Then he should pray, combining the two prayers of Dhuhr and Asr by delaying Dhuhr and hastening Asr, with one Adhan and two Iqamahs. Similarly, he should delay Maghrib and hasten Isha with one Adhan and two Iqamahs. He should also follow this method for Fajr (morning prayer)."
