Sa'd narrated from Ahmad, from al-Hasan ibn Ali al-Washsha:
I asked Abu al-Hasan عليه السلام about medicine applied to a man's hand. Would it suffice for him to wipe over the ointment during purification? Imam عليه السلام said: "Yes, it suffices for him to wipe over it."
