Chapter on Ritual Washings (Ghusl) and the Method of Performing Ghusl for Janabah (major impurity)
عَنْهُ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ اَلْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مُصَدِّقِ بْنِ صَدَقَةَ عَنْ عَمَّارٍ اَلسَّابَاطِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ:« إِذَا اِغْتَسَلْتَ مِنَ اَلْجَنَابَةِ فَقُلِ اَللَّهُمَّ طَهِّرْ قَلْبِي وَ تَقَبَّلْ سَعْيِي وَ اِجْعَلْ مَا عِنْدَكَ خَيْراً لِي اَللَّهُمَّ اِجْعَلْنِي مِنَ اَلتَّوَّابِينَ وَ اِجْعَلْنِي مِنَ اَلْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ وَ إِذَا اِغْتَسَلْتَ لِلْجُمُعَةِ فَقُلِ اَللَّهُمَّ طَهِّرْ قَلْبِي مِنْ كُلِّ آفَةٍ تَمْحَقُ بِهَا دِينِي وَ تُبْطِلُ بِهَا عَمَلِي اَللَّهُمَّ اِجْعَلْنِي مِنَ اَلتَّوَّابِينَ وَ اِجْعَلْنِي مِنَ اَلْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ».
From him, from Ahmad bin Al-Hasan bin Ali, from Amr bin Saeed, from Musaddiq bin Sadaqah, from Ammar Al-Sabati, who said:
Abu Abdullah عليه السلام said: "When you perform ghusl from janabah, say: 'O Allah سبحانه وتعالى, purify my heart and accept my effort, and make what is with You better for me. O Allah سبحانه وتعالى, make me among those who repent often, and make me among those who purify themselves.' And when you perform ghusl for Friday, say: 'O Allah سبحانه وتعالى, purify my heart from every affliction that destroys my religion and invalidates my deeds. O Allah سبحانه وتعالى, make me among those who repent often, and make me among those who purify themselves.'"
