From him, from Muhammad ibn Al-Husayn, from Musa ibn Isa, from Muhammad ibn Sa’id, from Isma’il ibn Muslim, from Imam Ja’far Al Sadiq عليه السلام, from his father Imam Al Baqir عليه السلام:
Imam عليه السلام said: “The Prophet (may Allah سبحانه وتعالى bless him and his family) came to a water source, and the people of the area approached Him صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم and said: "O Messenger of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, our water ponds are frequented by wild animals, dogs, and livestock." Imam عليه السلام said: "What they take with their mouths is for them, and the rest is for you."
