Chapter on Instructing the Dying (Talqin al-Muhtadarin)

أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ اَلْحَكَمِ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَنْ عُقَدِ كَفَنِ اَلْمَيِّتِ قَالَ« إِذَا أَدْخَلْتَهُ اَلْقَبْرَ فَحُلَّهَا».
Ahmad ibn Muhammad, from Ali ibn al-Hakam, from a man, from Abu Basir, who said:
I asked Abu Abdullah عليه السلام, about the knots of the shroud of the deceased. Imam عليه السلام said: "When you place him in the grave, untie them."
