Ahmad bin Muhammad, from Ali bin Hadid and Abd al-Rahman, from Hammad, from Hariz, from Zurara:
I said to Abu Ja'far عليه السلام: "A deceased person who died while in a state of major ritual impurity (janabah) - how is he washed, and what amount of water suffices for him?" Imam عليه السلام said: "He is washed with a single ghusl, and that suffices both for janabah and for the washing of the deceased, because two obligations have combined in one obligation."
