Chapter on Instructing the Dying (Talqin al-Muhtadarin)

عَنْهُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ بْنِ اَلْمُغِيرَةِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ عِيصٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ:« إِذَا مَاتَ اَلْمَيِّتُ فَخُذْ فِي جَهَازِهِ وَ عَجِّلْهُ وَ إِذَا مَاتَ اَلْمَيِّتُ وَ هُوَ جُنُبٌ غُسِلَ غَسْلاً وَاحِداً ثُمَّ يُغَسَّلُ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ».
He (narrated) from Muhammad bin Khalid, from Abdullah bin al-Mughira, who said: Some of our companions informed me, from 'Iys, from Abu Abdullah عليه السلام, from his father عليه السلام:
Imam عليه السلام said: "When the deceased dies, proceed with preparing him and hasten (the burial). And if the deceased dies while in a state of janabah, he is washed with one washing, and then he is washed afterward."
