Chapter on Etiquettes of Causes Requiring Purification

Narrated to me by the Shaykh (Al-Mufid), may Allah سبحانه وتعالى support him, who said: Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Al-Hasan narrated to me, from his father, from Muhammad bin Yahya, from Muhammad bin Ali bin Mahbub, from Al-Abbas, from Abdullah bin Al-Mughira, from Abdullah bin Maymun Al-Qaddah, from Abu Abdullah, from his forefathers, from Imam Ali عليه السلام, that: (Narrator said) When Imam Ali عليه السلام exited the toilet, He عليه السلام would say: 'Praise be to Allah سبحانه وتعالى, who provided me with its pleasure, kept its strength in my body, and removed its harm from me. What a blessing it is!' Imam عليه السلام would repeat this three times.
